Finances

Well run organisations have overheads but as all costs of the True and Fair Foundation are underwritten and funded by the Miller Family, donor services are offered on a NO FEE basis. This means every penny of monetary donations, including any Gift Aid, are passed on in full to our rigorously selected grantees.

Impact, Not Bean Counting

Having an impact lens is centre stage for us. Mutually agreed benchmarks are established with recipient charities and projects. These are regularly assessed to protect the generous investments from donors and philanthropists. Our team are actively in contact with all projects, including regular face to face meetings and updates, and operate an open door policy for all stakeholders.

To ensure supporters and donors are getting the best bang for their bucks, we insist on accountability, transparency, and effectiveness. But this does not mean impact measurement burdens that are not just a waste of time and effort, but often difficult to reconcile. You cannot measure some things directly or accurately, but you can keep a close eye on the pulse of work being delivered to ensure it is robust, beneficial and sustainable.

However, our support for grantees goes far beyond financial donations as grantees have access to a community of volunteers on our Goodwill Exchange.

The monetary value of these services far outweigh the financial donations the True and Fair Foundation makes.
